Cristin Brown, joined Headlands Capital in 2024, where she oversees the accounting, finance, and tax functions for Headlands Capital and its funds. She brings over 25 years of accounting, finance, auditing, tax and operations experience to Headlands Capital. Prior to joining Headlands Capital, Ms. Brown was the CFO at Atlantic Street Capital Management (“Atlantic Street”), an operationally focused private equity firm with AUM in excess of $2 billion. Before becoming CFO at Atlantic Street, Ms. Brown was the CFO at JC Flowers & Co LLC (“JC Flowers”), a private equity fund dedicated to investing globally in financial services with $4 billion of AUM. At JC Flowers, Ms. Brown led the global finance function responsible for accounting, investor reporting, valuations and operations. She started her professional career with Deloitte, auditing private equity clients, focusing primarily on leverage buyouts, mezzanine financing and fund-of-funds. Ms. Brown graduated from the University of Dayton, where she received her BS in Accounting.
